This course is for pupils that are able to play a range of scales, arpeggios, and chords in different keys and keep a steady rhythm. They should also show good listening skills, understand basic music theory, and play with musical expression.

The course does not include an exam but it will prepare you to take your London college of music exam.

No, this is a self-directed course. We do offer face-to-face lessons in the City of Bath, UK.

Students can email us with questions, use our peer-support Facebook group or book a paid 1-1 live zoom lesson with a tutor.
This course is designed for players with experience who have a good understand and knowledge of chords and strumming patterns. If you are a complete beginner we recommend you starting with our grade 1 course.
